When I first visited this monument I was astonished by the size and the wonderful sculpture. I was also able to appreciate my history class back then.
Little did I know that sometimes the monument also serves
as a shelter for a homeless family. The vacant space below looks like a living quarters with bedroom and kitchen. Hammocks from rice sacks serves as bed and just beside it are kitchen utensils .Seeing them not having their own house is heartbreaking. But they are destroying a beautiful work of art and a historical monument.
Fortunately when I took this picture they were not around :))
the first post hope my grammar will improve in the next posts haha
